Texas rapper Bun B continues to roll out the visuals in support of his joint project with Statik Selektah titled TrillStatik. Last week the pair dropped the visual for their single "I Know" featuring Haile Supreme, and now they're back with "T.B.A.," a track packed with lyrical punches featuring Propain and Killa Kyleon. "T.B.A." stands for "Texas Bar Association," so it's only fitting that all three rappers are natives.
Before dropping TrillStatik, last year Bun released Return of the Trill, his first record release in five years. The rapper admitted to Complex that although he could still create music after Pimp C passed away, it wasn't something that he enjoyed doing. As an OG stepping back into the game, Bun also wants to use his influence to teach younger artists how to protect themselves artistically and financially.
"There's a lot of young artists now who don't have anyone that really speaks to them about the industry or about real life and gives them any direction," he said. "It's really just the young leading the young. Which isn't always a bad thing, but there's something to be said for when young people have someone in their corner giving them some game."
Quotable Lyrics
I'm bigger, better, blacker and I'm G'd up
Sippin' on Courvoisier straight and I'm tree'd up
Shootin' my sh*t like James Harden and now we three'd up
Bun, Killa, and Propain you betta speed up
