Yesterday, it was revealed that City Girls rapper JT had been denied an early release from prison. She's currently serving time for identity theft and while she tries to keep herself busy behind bars, her partner Yung Miami has been keeping the boat afloat. The Quality Control duo has become one of the most popular female rap acts in the world and with such a loyal fanbase, they're likely to strive even further when JT makes her way out of prison. Somehow, they managed to capture enough content before she put on her orange jumpsuit because one year after the release of PERIOD, JT appears in the new video for "Careless."
With the recent success of songs like "Act Up" and "Twerk," the duo is at the height of their musical careers. "Careless" is the latest addition to their growing visual discography, showing the crew getting reckless and downright dangerous at times. We're not sure if a music video that shows you shoplifting at the corner store is the best idea for JT given her current situation but maybe that's why the team has decided to release the clip one day after her early release was shot down. The two City Girls rep their Miami roots and show out to their day-one fans to celebrate the one-year anniversary of their successful album PERIOD.
