Shay Lia deliver a funky and soulful record, "Voodoo."

Montreal-based singer Shay Lia has been on the rise for the past little while. With her self-titled EP on the way, the singer recently released her new single, "Voodoo." The singer's latest drop features Compton's own Buddy who delivers a verse and adds a bit of banter on the record, asking Shay Lia to speak in French for him before the two erupt into laughter. The song's funky production hails from Evan Miles and Jeff Hazin. "Voodoo" follows the release of both "Dangerous" and "Feels" that dropped earlier this year.

Over the past few years, Lia's made her name known through collaborations with Kaytranada. She's also worked with Stwo on the D.T.S.N.T. EP where she worked alongside BADBADNOTGOOD on "All Alone."

Peep her latest single below.

Quotable Lyrics
This sensations, swear it feels amazin'
My heart's racin', and you're the one to blame, honey
If you ever go through complications,
and you need someone to hold you up, I'll be the one
