The ninth season of Love and Hip Hop: New York will feature the return of two prominent former cast members: Joe Budden, and Cyn Santana. Fans may recall Budden's stint on the show's fourth season back in 2014. 4 years later, the couple who now share an adorable son, is set to return to the popular VH1 show.
Despite both being cast members in the show's fourth season, Budden and Santana's storylines did not intersect. VH1 cameras followed Budden through his efforts to regain control of his health after a relapse in the wake of 12 years of sobriety, and a memorable yet failed Times-Square proposal to his then long-time partner, Tahiry Jose. Meanwhile, Santana was having difficulties in her love life as well and underwent a public breakup with her girlfriend at the time, Erica Mena.
Currently, the broadcaster and former Slaughterhouse member has been in the headlines for his tension-filled relationship with Eminem while continuing to host The Joe Budden Podcast and State Of The Culture. Names such as Safaree, Remy Ma, Papoose, Juju, Maino, Yandy, Rich Dollaz, Kimbella, and Juelz Santana are slated to join Budden and Santana in the hit show's ninth season. Additional cast members will reportedly be announced at a later date.
