Crooner Jacob Latimore shared his Connection 2 studio album at the tail end of April and with it, delivered on a long-delayed fan request when he and Trevor Jackson linked up for project select "Tru Shit."
The collaboration seems to be the culmination of two careers that have paralleled one another for quite some time with both men having their careers rooted in beginnings as promising child stars, seamlessly vacillating between music and acting, currently occupying starring roles in critically acclaimed series: The Chi for Latimore and Grown-ish for Jackson.
In the new clip, the duo comes together to double down on the track's message, detailing their women's insecurities, both eventually using their suspicious girlfriend's ammo quite literally against them. The new video comes with direction courtesy of Trevor Jackson.
Catch it up top.
