Avengers: Endgame is already looking poised to shatter all sorts of box office records. For one, the pre-sale officially launched today, and by many accounts played out in chaotic fashion. Many eager fans found themselves lined up in digital queues, with some sites ultimately crashing beneath the sheer volume. In any case, Marvel's climactic chapter of the Infinity Saga is arriving on April 26th, and a new trailer has arrived in tandem with the pre-sale announcement. While brief, it does provide loads of new footage, including a look at the upcoming round 2 matchup with Thanos.
"If we do this, we'd be going in shorthanded," remarks a weary-looking Bruce Banner. "Cause they killed all our friends?" retorts an equally weary War Machine. Given the severity of Thanos' master-stroke, it's no surprise the angst is heavy. Case in point, Hawkeye has a sleeve now. At least Iron Man managed to return to Earth alright, as he seems to be playing a pivotal role in organizing the team's next play. He even appears to have mended all fences with Steve Rogers, as the pair exchange a heroic handshake.
And yet, Thanos isn't shook in the slightest. "You could not live with your own failure," he taunts, waiting for the upcoming second round. "Where did that bring you? Back to me." Should be a fight for the ages. Have you bought your tickets yet?
