Foles' future with Philadelphia is uncertain.

Now that the Philadelphia Eagles season is over, the team has some important decisions to make in the offseason. The team has been playing with essentially two starting quarterbacks in Carson Wentz and Nick Foles. Wentz has been the guy the Eagles have wanted to start, but due to injuries, it's been Foles who has taken the reins. While Foles has been the guy coming off the bench, he did win the team a Super Bowl and eventually led the Eagles to the playoffs this season.

The QB situation provides a difficult decision for the Eagles, who could lose Foles to free agency. Considering he wants to be a starter, that's a real possibility.

"Yeah, like I said, I would love to lead a team," Foles said according to ESPN. "The starter thing, leading a team, impacting a locker room, that's something that's why we play the game, to impact people, to create an atmosphere."

The Eagles have a $20 million option with Foles which can extend him for an extra season. Although Foles can pay $2 million to buy himself out of the contract and enter free agency, according to ESPN.

Wentz commented on the QB situation saying he has nothing but support and love for his teammate.

"I know a couple things: I love Nick. I love that we're like brothers in there, me Nick and Nate [Sudfeld], and the support we have for each other," Wentz said. "Whatever happens is meant to happen and I think we're all going to be successful in our own right."

Foles has flirted with the idea of retirement in the past but says his time in Philly has ignited his passion to keep playing.
