Flying Lotus hits us with another track prior to the much-anticipated release of his new album, Flamagra. This time, however, the producer tapped onto the skills of multitalented rapper Anderson .Paak for the new joint "More." In one word, the song is amazing and only serves to show us how great Flying Lotus too. The collaboration is well chosen and the track's originality speaks for it. "More" was premiered on Apple Music's Beats 1 Radio where FlyLo added in reference to the birthing of the track: "We started this song about six years ago. Pretty much, like right away. It was early, it was early. You know, but I didn’t have a project yet and it was like in the very beginning when I was starting to work on my new stuff."
DJ, artist, and producer extraordinaire Flying Lotus has been releasing a slew of tracks in the wake of the release of his highly anticipated album, Flamagra. Thus far, we count the budding track "Fire Is Coming," which offered us interesting vocals from the iconic filmmaker David Lynch. Moreover, we most recently received another musical addition titled "Takashi" and"Spontaneous" which are also part of the 27-track project due May 24th.
Quotable Lyrics
Until it's clear, then I'm back to baggin' bags of loot
Spent years tryna steer both hands on you
'Til I finally understood that I was spinnin' my hoop
Rather spinnin' my wheels, gettin' up in my years
