Teenage soccer prodigy isn't a teenager at all.

Gourav Mukhi, the 16-year old Indian soccer "prodigy" who recently became the youngest goal scorer in Indian Super League history, has been suspended six months. As it turns out, he isn't the youngest goal scorer in league history because he's at least 28 years of age.

Take a look y'all:

According to a report by FOX Sports Asia, Mukhi was suspended for six months this week by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) after his secret was revealed. Furthermore, Fox Sports Asia mentions that Mukhi was actually cited in 2015 for participating in a U16 National Camp in India, when he would have been roughly 25 years old.

It's still a mystery how old he actually is, with some outlets suggesting he's 29. Either way, he's certainly no teenage prodigy and he'll be sidelined for at least six months.
