Charlamagne the God is "cheating" so to speak -- going back on his word that we no longer support the NFL product so long as the political unrest remains at a standstill. TMZ caught up with the popular radio personality outside a Barnes & Noble storefront, where he was promoting his new book Shook Ones
Another thing that bodes well for Charlamagne's reintegration as an "NFL Fan" is Eric Reid's reemergence as a Carolina Panther. "I'm cheating, I'm not gonna lie," Charlamagne told the reporter. "Eric Reid is back there. He's giving them white folks hell. He keeping his foot in their ass. So, I'm watching for Eric Reid." The safety (Reid) signed a season-long tender with the Carolina Panthers after Da'Norris Searcy went out with an injury. NFL insiders were unsure a team/owner would offer him a contract in 2018, due to his association with Colin Kaepernick.
The TMZ reporter asked Charlamagne, a noted Dallas Cowboys fan, what he thought of owner Jerry Jones' PR stunt at the African American History Museum in Washington, D.C. this week. "I'm a fan of the most racist owner in the whole league," he answered. "That's all posturing.. that's just a way to appease his Black players."
It should be noted, the ever-opinionated Charlamagne is not a fan of the Amari Cooper acquisition. You win some you lose some.
