Quavo and Young Thug are no strangers to collaboration, having linked up for a variety of bangers including "Guwop," "Upscale," and more. Clearly, the pair has found a sense of harmony in the studio, much to the delight of eager fans. With Thugger's Barter 7 and Quavo's next Migos project Culture 3 in the pipeline, it's no wonder that both rappers have once again reunited to craft some bangers. As it happens, their latest concoction emerged on a spontaneous whim, put together in real time during an IG live session.
Over a bouncy, guitar-driven beat, Quavo appears to freestyle off the dome, rapping "Huncho, yeah, you know it's lit, Huncho, yeah, you know he rich." In the background, the engineer toils over the Pro Tools session, vibing freely. "I know you watching on this live, lil bitch," spits Quavo, addressing the legions of observers. The Wheezy tag eventually kicks in, as Quavo marvels at the fire they're sitting on.
Thugger is next up, laying down some vocals in the background; though it's hard to discern a structure, it seems as if he's singing the chorus. "I ain't ever talking to 12," he repeats, no doubt listening to the instrumental on his headphones. In the final clip, the unmixed finished product can be heard, with Thugger's vocals playing back on the studio monitors. While we're likely still looking at a track in its foundational stages, it's still cool of both Quavo and Thug to invite fans in for a deeper look at the creative process.
