Los Angeles-based rapper, Duckwrth, has returned with a new EP titled The Falling Man. The project is his first release since his 2017 An XTRA UUGLY Mixtape.
The Republic Records artist’s latest project features eight tracks, including collaborations with Rico Nasty, Terrace Martin, Allan Kingdom, Medasin, Kiana Ledé, Mr. Carmack and NoMBe.
Comparing the ups and downs of an artist to those of a king while addressing his fear of falling just as quickly as he rose, the project addresses universal themes like power and corruption, love and death, as well as, bravery and heroism over refreshingly dynamic beats and melodies. The album switches between gentler tracks like "King King" and "Nobody Falls", to the more frenzied "Fall Back" (which he had previously released last year, alongside a video) and "A Wildfire", while still all carrying a cohesive sense of intensity.
Aside from his "Fall Back" single, the artist also previously released the track "Soprano" from the album, which also came with an accompanying video. Back then the artist proved he was one to watch out for, with his distinctly creative visuals and dark undertones, and with this project, fans surely have no space to doubt his talent.
