Kevin Hart has suffered quite a bit of public scrutiny since he stepped down from hosting the upcoming Oscars since old tweets of his surfaced, showing homophobic remarks. Just because he lost the Oscars, however, doesn't mean he's lost any fortune since the Night School actor has been ranked the second richest comedian in the industry, according to Forbes.
According to the publication, Kevin's total earnings this year are $57 million pulling in right behind Jerry Seinfeld who earned $57.5 million. Kevin's coin mostly came from his Irresponsible Tour which was the biggest comedy tour of the year selling one million tickets and giving Kevin more than $30 million. His role in the Jumanji remake was also financially worthwhile since the film grossed nearly $1 billion worldwide.
When Kevin was a the height of the controversy, he released a video detailing how he's changed and grown into a different man.
"If u want to search my history or past and anger yourselves with what u find that is fine with me. I’m almost 40 years old and I’m in love with the man that I am becoming," he wrote. "You LIVE and YOU LEARN & YOU GROW & YOU MATURE. I live to Love....Please take your negative energy and put it into something constructive."
