In the early 1990s, Apple created a pair of special edition low-tops which were given out exclusively to Apple employees. The kicks, reportedly manufactured by Adidas, feature a basic, white leather construction accompanied by the vintage rainbow Apple logo on the tongue as well as the side panel.
As a nod to that iconic sneaker, it appears as though Versace might be releasing a similarly styled low-top. Salehe Bembury, the head of sneaker design at Versace, recently took to instagram to reveal a remixed Apple sneaker, sparking rumors that a limited run might be in the works.
The Versace x Apple kicks feature the same white leather upper as the original, but the rainbow apple logo on the tongue has naturally been swapped out in favor of a ROY G BIV Versace logo, along with Versace text on the side.
