PUMA sued over their In-N-Out themed Cali-0 sneaker.

PUMA has been hit with a lawsuit by California burger chain In-N-Out in regards to the special edition PUMA Cali-0 "Drive Thru" sneaker, which sold out when it debutd last month.

According to NBC4 Los Angeles, In-N-Out has filed a trademark infringement lawsuit, claiming that Puma has used its trademarks and signature colors without permission. In-N-Out has also requested to be awarded any profits related to the sales of the shoes, in addition to unspecified damages.

"By using In-N-Out's designs and trade dress, Puma and Cherman intentionally confused consumers for their own benefit and have also created the impression that our marks and unique trade dress are available for public use," executive vice president of In-N-Out Burger Arnie Wensinger said in a statement to NBC4

The kicks in question come equipped with a clean, white leather upper accompanied by red and yellow accents throughout. Additionally, as seen in photos provided by AFEW, the Puma Cali-0 Drive Thru comes with an extra set of palm tree lined In-N-Out laces.
