For the better part of this year, Cardi B has been on top of the world. The young artist has experienced an insane amount of success and she's prepared to grow even further, leading her fans into a post-Invasion of Privacy era. We were expecting a new project from the Bronx rapper at the beginning of last month but that seems to have been delayed indefinitely, opting instead to drop a new single yesterday to hype people up. Promoting "Money," Cardi stopped by Beats 1 to chat about the new track with Ebro.
As you likely know at this point, Cardi was targeted when her song was leaked a few days early, prompting her to officially release it a bit prematurely. During her interview with Ebro, she touched on the rumored collaboration with Beyonce that has been floating around since last year. Unfortunately, she told the host that it does not exist, telling Darden that she would be happy to work with Bey in the future. To close out the talk, she was asked about the possibility of an upcoming tour. With her stating that she wants to have more kids, the prospect of an anticipated Cardi tour seemed out of the question for next year but the "I Like It" singer provided some good news, saying that her team is working on the details right now.
The news about her "Wet" collab with Beyoncé is pretty unfortunate but at least her fans should be able to witness her live in the coming months. Stay tuned for news about the eventual tour.
