At the top of the month, Disney decided to unleash Marvel's Black Panther film for an encore presentation at select theaters around the country for free to kick off Black History Month in the United States. The film was made available to view in 250 AMC theaters and coincided with the company's donation of $1.5 million to the United Negro College Fund organization.
