In the last five years, we've witnessed a resurgence in the way that people consume music. Sure, digital platforms run the world right now but when it comes to physical copies of albums, vinyl and cassettes are becoming much more popular after their respective demises. There are still record stores in major markets around the world that comfortably keep their doors open with all the demand. You can just about get any major album on vinyl. While it's viewed as a collector's item for many, records are also used as a means to facilitate sampling and during DJ sets. Today is Record Store Day. Falling on Black Friday every year, there are some special deals that you will want to be aware of that are on right now.
With a good chunk of people at the mall for Black Friday, Record Store Day has all the music lovers rushing to their nearest store. Variety noted a few of the best deals, including special quantities of the most recent A$AP Ferg singles, G-Eazy's The Vault, and more importantly, OutKast's "Rosa Parks."
