Last year was a pretty crazy year for Ariana Grande. The young pop star broke up with Mac Miller and then later in the same year, she had to grieve his death. During all of that, she was engaged for a few weeks to Pete Davidson, leaving him and releasing two albums in the process. It's been a wacky ride for Ariana Grande fans these last twelve months and it's about to get even more dramatic. For months, Ari has been teasing a song with her best friend Victoria Monet and it will finally arrive today. Ahead of its release though, the lyrics have found their way online and Grande fans were quick to notice that the singer seemingly alludes to being bisexual on the track.
Victoria Monet is openly bisexual, so maybe Ariana was just harmonizing with her or something. Regardless, fans are looking forward to hearing the song and watching the video to see if their assumptions are indeed true. In the lyrics to "Monopoly," Ariana reportedly sings: "I like women and men/Work so fuckin' much, need a twinny, twin, twin." I don't know about you but that lyric seems pretty clear cut.
According to Genius, Ariana also speaks about having to give up 90% of the royalties to "7 Rings," flexing the fact that she's still rich as hell. Stay tuned for the song's release today.
