Kodak Black is like the gift that keeps on giving, and today he's dropped off the visual for his single, "Expeditiously." The song has been labeled as a "diss track," but aside from specifically mentioning Gillie Da Kid (N*gga waitin' on for me to fall off just like that boy Gillie) and T.I.'s wife Tiny (Tiny, that b*tch ugly as hell, I don't even want Piggy), the track doesn't come across as a full lyrical assault.
The music video was filmed while Kodak has been on the road completing his tour and features behind-the-scenes clips of the rapper with his entourage. There are adorable scenes with Kodak and his young son, as well as the rapper performing in front of screaming fans. It also shows that this compilation may have been made in a hurry, considering it looks as if Kodak has yet to even memorize the words to "Expeditiously" and is reading the lyrics to the song off of his phone.
The Florida MC certainly knows how to capitalize off of controversy. He has a solid crew who stands by him while many in the rap world have either become his targets or his foes. Taking the old adage "there is no such thing as bad publicity" seriously, Kodak has been able to widen his audience—albeit at the expense of others.
