Congratulatory messages have poured in.

He rose to fame as the annoying, yet lovable, next door neighbor on Sister, Sister who was constantly being told, "Go home, Roger!" Well, that's not the response Marques Houston received from girlfriend—now fiancé—Miya who accepted the 37-year-old entertainer's proposal. In a series of syrupy sweet Instagram posts, Houston shared a few engagement photos with his 1 million followers. "She said 'YES' 💍" Houston wrote in the caption of one photo showing off Miya's massive diamond rock as the couple held hands.

Over on Miya's Instagram, that bears the name "MiyanaHouston," she posted a few more loving photos of herself and her future husband.  She shared her adoration for Houston in a caption by writing, "Today I said 'yes' to my Best friend. I said yes to a new beginning. I said yes to my spiritual head. I said yes to loving you forever and forever baby. I am so blessed to have you and to be yours FOREVER ❤️❤️. These past months have been the best months of my life. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend them with anyone else or any other way. I love you so much and I promise to always be the best for Jehovah and for you. You deserve the best and it’s my goal to give you that. ❤️❤️ I can't wait to marry you. - your fiancé ❤️"

According to Miya's Instagram bio, she and Houston began dating in October 2018. A month later, producer Chris Stokes shared a photo of the couple on his Instagram page, calling Miya his "play daughter." The two faced criticism over their relationship with Stokes, but they moved forward regardless of the criticism. Also, if the "Jehovah" remarks are confusing you, Houston has been quite vocal about being a Jehovah's Witness. Congrats to the couple!
