According to Kid Buu, misery doesn't only love company, it solely "needs" it to survive the cold winter. The Buu mythology is hard to portray without feeling self-conscious. But let's just say everything about his come-up story isn't self-generated, where would that place us in the context of this "Misery Needs Company" that premiered on April Fool's Day, which in itself is a bit of weird omen, right?
In the new Buu video, either he or his carbon copy makes do with a plethora of slender models with reflective foreheads reminiscent of that hulking character on Stargate SG-1 in the late 90s. Though I must admit, I do think the showrunners were going for mood rings with the Jaffa character design. In contrast, Buu persona is not any less "Sci-Fi" by the book, but you've got to think he'd scoff at the idea of a mood ring coercing him in an uncontrolled manner. One thing's for certain: misery is a wasted experience if you don't have company. Buu figured that out, didn't he?
