According to The Hollywood Reporter, T.I. aka Clifford Harris, has joined the cast of Paul W.S. Anderson adaptation of the Capcom video game series Monster Hunter. Also joining T.I. are actors Ron Pearlman and Milla Jovovich, the latter of which is the director's spouse and the face of his Resident Evil movie franchise.
If you don't already know, the game's major premise is to level up your protracted character with better weapons and spell abilities, on a quest to vanquish monsters. The project, which is being given a budget of around $60 million, will strive to recreate the vast playing field cast within the game. The only function of the plot being reported is the name of Jovovich's character Artemis, and the overall scope of the project.
Paul W.S. Anderson will undertake all production elements with his longtime producer team of Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer, who were with him for much of the Resident Evil experience. T.I. on the other hand, is just beginning to assess his potential as an acteur. The Grand Hustle rapper is set to reprise his role in the Ant-Man and the Wasp sequel as the getaway driver "Dave." He has also added his name to the least of supporting actors giving credence to Eddie Murphy's upcoming bio-dramedy Dolemite Is My Name, next to Wesley Snipes and Mike Epps among others.
