Young Thug has promised his fans some new music in the immediate future. According to the Atlanta rapper's Instagram story, a deluxe edition of his new project Slime Language will be arriving "any day" now. It is unclear exactly what fans will be getting with the deluxe release, but one would assume that there will be at least a couple of bonus tracks included. As he was with the original Slime Language release, Thug has been known to tease imminent drops only to keep fans waiting, so it may be best not to hold your breath and enjoy Slime Language as it is for the time being.
Thug has recently previewed some new music which may or may not appear on the upcoming deluxe edition. Find some clips below.
Thug was recently announced as an opener on J. Cole's upcoming Dreamville Festival, which will also include SZA, Big Sean, Rich The Kid, Nelly, Teyana Taylor, Davido, Saba, and more. Find the full lineup here.
Slime Language debuted within the top ten of the Billboard 200 last week, moving 41,000 units. The project, which was more of a compilation showcasing YSL's artists than a proper Thug album, features contributions from Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, Jacquees, and even the rapper's on-again off-again girlfriend Jerrika Karlae (who goes simply by Karlae as a vocalist).
