Spree Wilson has been doing his thing for quite some time and now the Southern crooner has recruited Big Rube of the Dungeon Family and Janelle Monae proteges St. Beauty to deliver on his soulful and wistful new track "No Escape."
As the artwork suggests, the new track is laced in funky and nostalgic soundscapes and transports us to a destination of carefully crafted southern ballad.
“The song is about being in love so deeply that you don’t want to escape that feeling,” Spree says. “We wanted to capture that feeling with not only the lyrics but with the way the music felt, from the sultriness of the synth sounds to the funk blues of the guitar lines. All of it was designed with the intent to get inside of you and refuse to leave.”
