The sneaker world saw some pretty hyped up releases in 2018.

If you're a sneakerhead who has the money to spare and typically misses out on copping hyped up releases for retail, you probably know all about Stock X. The website acts like a stock market for sneakers, with resellers selling their kicks through the website, who legit checks them and then sends them to the buyer. The Detroit-based company has sold thousands upon thousands of sneakers at this point, so they have a pretty solid grasp on what the most valuable releases of the year were. Stock X recently teamed up with Highsnobiety for an informative video which points out exactly which shoes were not just the most expensive, but also the most coveted.

According to the video, the Air Jordan 1 was the highest selling sneaker silhouette on the website, as there were 60 unique drops last year. Amongst those, of course, was the Off-White Air Jordan 1 "UNC," and the Union LA collaboration just to name a few. In terms of best-selling colorway, that title went to the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 "Butter" which was one of the most widely released Yeezy colorways of all time.

While it didn't release in 2018, the highest-priced sneaker that sold was the Nike Air Mag which ended up going for $25,000. As for the most expensive shoe of 2018, well, that honor went to the "Flight Jacket" Undefeated x Nike Zoom Kobe I Protro. Only 10 pairs were released and they sold for an average of $3,900.

Did you cop any of the shoes mentioned in the video?
