The singer continues to roll out music ahead of her forthcoming release.

A little over a week ago, Monica dropped the visual for her single, "Commitment." The Teyana Taylor-directed clip found the R&B singer behind bars for going Set It Off on her boyfriend who she caught cheating red-handed. This time around, the Atlanta vocalist delivers "Me + You," a track with more of an upbeat vibe as Monica sings about how she feels when she's with her man.

The song will appear on the singer's forthcoming Chapter 38 release that's slated to drop this year under her MonDeenise Music label. The record will be the follow-up to the T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle star's 2015 album, Code Red. Fans are both expecting and hoping that Chapter 38 will have a few R&B bangers on it as just last month, Monica filed for divorce from husband Shannon Brown after eight years of marriage. Reports have stated that the singer will remain tight-lipped about her split, but many artists use music as an avenue to express emotions following a breakup.

Quotable Lyrics

Rockin' and rollin'
Twistin' and turnin' on ya
Snatchin' your soul
Puttin' this on ya
