The Game announced on Instagram today that he will be performing in Edmonton despite initially cancelling his show there due to negligent behaviour by the original venue.
In an Instagram post on December 9th, The Game referenced the death of Mohamed Abdi who died after visiting the Ranch Roadhouse, the venue the rapper was supposed to perform at on January 16th. In the post The Game said "I am no longer going to perform at The Ranch Roadhouse due to the negligent & heartless behavior by security & staff who did not follow "Pro-Serve" (serving alcohol) policies, that led to the death of Mohamed Abdi less than a month ago," The Game wrote. "After being kicked out while intoxicated & not in the right mind state, he froze to death & his lifeless cold body was found the next day under a truck where he sought shelter because of the freezing temperature."
This time around the gig will be held at the Anthem and will take place on the same day it was originally slated for. Game fans on Instagram were ecstatic about the news and are excited to finally see him live.
The Game's Canadian Tour begins on January 12th in Vancouver and ends January 29th in St-John's Newfoundland.
