Will Smith and Jaden Smith attend the Premiere Of Netflix's 'Bright' at Regency Village Theatre on December 13, 2017 in Westwood, California.
Will Smith comes through with some BTS footage of Jaden Smith's first night on J. Cole's tour.

Will Smith was late to the social media party but since he's joined Instagram, the Internet has been a better place. He's given fans insight to his relatively private life and even partook in Internet challenges (i.e. The "In My Feelings" challenge). As he's joined the rest of us on social media, he's also been more active in music than he has since the mid 00's with his World Cup song with Nicky Jam and Era Istrefi, "Live It Up" and of course, the remix to his son Jaden's "Icon." After performing the song for the first time together on the opening date of J. Cole's "K.O.D" tour, Will Smith has shared some official behind the scenes footage of the performance.

Will Smith flew out to Miami, FL to support his son on the opening night of J. Cole's "K.O.D" tour. Jaden is among several openers on the tour alongside Young Thug and EarthGang. Will Smith joined Jaden Smith that night for a performance of "Icon" and the actor shared the events that led up to their performance.

"Jaden's first night on tour with J. Cole so we're coming to support," Will Smith said.

The actor then clowned his son for heading out go eat 40 minutes before showtime.

"So Jaden, first show, first day. We here and he just left and went to a restaurant like 40 minutes before he's supposed to be on stage," he said. "At the core, I blame his mother."

He continued, "I just wanted to be more disciplined with the kids and she had a different point of view so what we get is Jaden, he gon' show up late for the first date of his own tour... He might still make it but if he don't, it's the Pinkett part of his blood."

The video also shows Jaden Smith instructing Will Smith when to come out on stage and the excellent execution of the plan during the concert.
