Backpack Kid is not happy over the use of his dance in Fortnite.

The extremely popular video game Fortnite and its creator Epic Games has come under fire recently for its dances that can be unlocked in game. Many of the dances are directly tied to hip-hop, with 2 Milly's "Milly Rock" dance and JB Blocboy's "Shoot" dance being among the most popular. Despite the spotlight on these dances, the creators of these moves feel as though they've been ripped off and some have sought out legal action.

2 Milly recently filed a lawsuit against Epic Games and just yesterday it was reported that Fresh Prince Of Bel Air actor Alfonso Ribeiro is suing the company as well for stealing the Carlton dance. Now the infamous Backpack Kid, best known for creating the Floss dance is seeking legal actions against the Fortnite creators.

According to TMZ, Backpack Kid is in the process of copyrighting the dance to avoid the same thing from happening again. His mom is the one who has filed the lawsuit, although it is unclear how much money they are seeking. The Floss creator is also suing 2K Games for using the dance in their popular NBA 2K series.

Epic Games has been the subject of criticism in the past, with Chance the Rapper calling the game out for profiting off of hip-hop culture. It will be interesting to see if any of the other people behind the dance moves found in the game will go for a lawsuit as well.
