Jay Z and Ron Howard's "Made In America" documentary will debut at this year's Toronto Film Festival on September 7th.

The countdown is on for Jay Z's second annual "Made In America" festival. This years lineup will feature Beyonce, Nine Inch Nails, TDE’s Black Hippy Crew, 2 Chainz, Empire of the Sun, ASAP Rocky, Miguel, Deadmau5, Wiz Khalifa, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, plus others at Philadelphia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway on August 31 and Sept 1.

Following the week after, Academy Award winning director, Ron Howard, will be world premiering his new documentary on LAST year's "Made In America" event. Howard's screening will take place on Saturday, September 7th at 10:15 PM EST, at Toronto's Film Festival. Being filmed through the eyes of Howard, the documentary captures backstage footage, exclusive interviews, interaction with fans, and even recounts Jay's preparation for the 2-day festival. Appearances from last year event included Kanye West, Pearl Jam, Santigold, Skrillex, D’Angelo, Run D.M.C., Odd Future, Janelle Monae, and more.

Check out a summary of what to expect on the film:

“As seen through Howard’s affectionate gaze, Made in America is a love letter not only to Jay Z and his unique project, but also to the city of Philadelphia. Fascinating interludes include one-on-ones with audience members about what the show means to the Philly community — the responses are both positive and negative. Howard explores the birthplace of American Independence and how it relates to this unprecedented event. He even takes some time to follow a local hip-hop group through its attempt to get added to the prestigious bill. Don’t miss this invigorating documentary — and a conversation with one great artist about witnessing the fulfillment of another’s dream.”
