Presidential aspirant Senator Bernie Sanders recently hit The Breakfast Club, where Charlamagne wasted little time in getting right into it. "44 out of 45 Presidents of this country have been white men," he says. "Do you think we need another one?" "I think you need this one," chuckles Bernie. "Look, we are living in an unprecedented time. We have the most dangerous president in modern history. Someone who is a pathological liar, a fraud, a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe. This is a bad news guy. The most important thing that has to happen is this dangerous President is defeated. I'm going to do everything in my power to defeat him. I look forward to winning the Democratic nomination."

Speaking on the future, Bernie promises a more "diverse" campaign moving forward, addressing criticisms that his former campaign was "too white" and "too male." He also uses the platform to issue his first campaign promise. "When you look at Trump's cabinet," begins Senator Sanders, "looks kind of white and kind of old. Our cabinet will look like America. In terms of women and men and racial diversity."
When Charlamagne inquires about Bernie's experience with the DNC, alluding to a robbery of sorts, Bernie keeps it professional yet pointed. "Let's just say the DNC was not overly sympathetic to our candidacy. Let's just say they represented the establishment we took on. Let's just say before the first vote was cast in the 2016 Primary Election, in a caucus in Iowa, my opponent Secretary Clinton had 500 superdelegates lined up before the first vote was cast."
