John Legend won't rule out hosting the Oscars with his wife Chrissy Teigen.

Ever since Kevin Hart stepped down from hosting the Oscars after some old homophobic tweets resurfaced, the award show has been scrambling to find themselves a new host. Ideas have been thrown around as to who the next host will be, with Oprah and Steve Harvey making it clear they don't want to host after their names were brought up.

Now John Legend is entering his name into the pool along with his wife Chrissy Teigen, although he's not completely sold on the idea. While at the Fred Segal Loves Ralph Lauren pop-up space on Monday, Legend said "I feel like it’s a thankless job. Nobody really wins from hosting the Oscars. It doesn’t really end up great for anybody ... I’m not saying we’re ruling it out."

Teigen made some of her own suggestions on Twitter as to who should host the Oscars. Among the names on her list were Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ellen DeGeneres or Anne Hathaway and James Franco. Although we do think that a John Legend and Chrissy Teigen duo hosting the Oscars would make for some great television.

The Oscars will take place on Feb. 24 and could be interesting if they don't find a host anytime soon.
