Wiz Khalifa drops introspection amidst stoned revelry.

The favored holiday 4/20 generally finds many weed smokers in various states of inebriation throughout the day. At times, some may choose to relax with the fixed mission of soaking in weed-friendly comedy. Others choose to politic with friends, engaging in creative and witty banter. Some, like Wiz Khalifa, opt for maximum productivity. In case you missed it, the Taylor Gang rapper used the opportunity to drop off his unofficial soundtrack in Fly Times: The Good Fly Youngfeaturing  Ty Dolla $ign, THEMXXNLIGHT, ProblemChevy Woods, Young Deji, Sosamann, and Curren$y.

While Wiz fans have responded favorably to the surprise album, "Yea Yup" has found a place as one of the notable standouts. Over a smooth, string-driven instrumental from Harry Fraud, Wiz takes a moment to drop introspection amidst the stoned revelry. "Conversations about television and such," he spits. "Make a toast to the better us, we never die, never givin' up, ever let sucker sheep get ahead of us." He continues to examine his journey thus far, reflecting on how he managed to stay real while making a fortune, a difficult endeavor in this world of ours.

Quotable Lyrics

And still them bottles gon' pop, another 30k, you gotta go shop
Even though it pains 'em, I guarantee it ain't ever gon' stop
I’m with a few G's, you ready or not?
We levelin' up, conversation's 'bout television and such make a toast to the better us
We never die, never givin' up
Never let sucker sheep get ahead of us
Blow rapper weed on the regular
You just rappers with weed, etcetera
