Aaron Carter was triggered on social media on Tuesday (November 20) by a fan that asked him why he never reached the same level of success as Justin Bieber. "I’ve been in this industry before he was born," he responded angrily. "I’ve had harder times and always bounce back. No I’m not Justin Bieber I’m Aaron Carter. I’m also in construction 🚧 I paved the way. These kids have NEVER paid me homage." For those who remember, Aaron Carter was more like a bubble gum child rapper than a musician similar to Bieber.

Bieber finally had time to respond to Carter on Wednesday night, writing, "Aaron carter i had your album when I was little. And bumped the song Aaron’s party. I was like 7. if you need a hype man I got you." He continued on to write another tweet stating, "All love over here Aaron. You got my support." Although at first, it seems like Bieber was throwing some shade by referencing the fact that Carter hasn't been relevant since he was seven, the following tweet makes the message seem genuine. The tagline on Carter's tweets mentions the release of a new album, so a co-sign from Bieber couldn't have come at a better time.
