Jamie and his younger sister are the best of friends.

Jamie Foxx is so down to earth and appreciative of his surroundings thanks to his sister, DeOndra Dixon, who has down syndrome. The Django Unchained actor recently chatted with Deadline for an upcoming episode of the show and was joined by his sibling to talk about their relationship.

“I learned how to live. Sometimes we get caught up in our world on the extras of everything — ‘Ah, the Mercedes is not the right color!’ ” he says in the episode's teaser, via People. “And then you see this girl over here, ‘I just want to live. I want to dance. I want to love.’ So she brings you back down to what life is.”

DeOndra added: “I do feel down and sad and when he’s not here." Jamie replied: “And what do you do? You text me. You say, ‘Where you at?’ And, ‘Where the money at?’ “ The episode airs Friday, August 31 at 10 p.m.

DeOndra has previously been involved in Jamie's work making a cameo in his "Blame It" video which led to her becoming an ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.
