Lil Xan is just tryin' to live, like Devin The Dude before him. The young man had a rough go in 2018, finding himself faced with all manner of challenges, from the fallout of unsavory commentary, to unfortunate family tree discoveries, to a mishap with a bag of hot Cheetos in which "you should see the other guy" idioms need not apply. In any case, Xan has entered the new year bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, hellbent on living his best life. Now, Xan has decided to enter the vlogosphere, documenting a recent trip to "the world's largest independent record store," Amoeba Records.
Xan appears in good spirits throughout the clip, evidenced by the joie de vivre associated with a fully stocked coffer. As he peruses, he takes the opportunity to mingle with fans, and reflect on days from his come-up, when his dad took him to a pre-fame Vampire Weekend concert. Off the bat, he's captivated by some Mac Miller memorabilia, before setting his sights on Lil Peep cassettes and CDs. Before long, he pulls his own Total Xanarchy from the "Lil Misc" section, and moseys over to the vinyl section for a few Mac Miller selections. Check out the full clip now, and keep an eye out for Xan's next move, should you be interested in the young rapper's redemption arc.
