"Reading & Leeds" revealed its lineup for the 2019 iteration of its annual festival. Of interest to hip-hop fans are the names of Juice WRLD and Post Malone, who perform on the first two days of the tourney, on August 23rd and 24th respectively. Their names and those listed under them, make up the marquee picks who are expected to drive ticket sales. The remainder of the lineup will be hand-selected to fit any loose ends, at a later submission date sometime later in the new year.
Besides Juice WRLD and Post Malone, Stefflon Don, The 1975, Twenty One Pilots, Pale Waves, Billie Eilish, and G FLip will perform on the first two festival dates. The closing day of festivities will be headlined by The Foo Fighters, with the backing of Not3s, Bastille, The Distillers, Yungblud, and The Amazons.
Last year's lineup consisting of Kendrick Lamar, Lil Pump, Playboi Carti, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, among others, quickly sold out off the back of strong hip-hop representation. Festival organizers will likely target a similar demographic when they round out the list of invitees in the coming months.
Weekend and one-day ticket bundles will be made available over at the Reading Festival website, when the box office opens this Friday.
