Your Old Droog links up with DOOM and Mach Hommy for his latest drop.

Your Old Droog's been championed in the underground for years. Since emerging in 2014, he's delivered two studio albums including 2017's PACKS. Fans are waiting for his next album to drop but today, he returns with a brand new single featuring MF Doom and Mach-Hommy titled, "RST." The rapper enlists V Don for the sample-based production.

Droog's previously explained the influence that MF Doom's had on his career. He explained in a 2017 interview that he learned how to maintain his privacy and separate his rap persona from real life.

"I don’t want to be walking around all the time like I’m this rapper guy,” he says. “I learned that from my favorite rapper, MF Doom–how he approached it, doing interviews. People get caught up in these characters, start believing that’s them. That’s been the downfall of a lot of people. You start believing the hype, you’re juiced up on Hennessy, you start acting up, acting a fool, you believe you’re Superman.”

Peep the new song below.

Quotable Lyrics
Clowns and clones sneaky as skull and bones
Wiretaps buggin' phones, keys to a dozen homes
They movin' all amongst us until they cover's blown
Real weirdo shit, take you up out your comfort zone
Elephant in the room, King Kong on the couch
Remain elegant and in tune with what's pourin' out the mouth
