A couple weeks back Tamar Braxton paid a visit to The Wendy Williams Show and revealed to the talk show host that she was molested during her childhood by family members on both sides. The bombshell revelation was the first time Tamar publicly spoke her truth and the Wendy chose to not push the reality star for more information and no names were revealed.
TMZ recently caught up with Tamar's mother Evelyn where the mother of six said she was simply devasted. “Can you imagine the devastation for the person that has been dealing with this all of these years?” she asked the paparazzi. She added how the suspects who did the horrible acts to Tamar as a child are probably hoping the revelation blows over, but she will stand by her daughter in any way she wants to move forward with her story.
“If she feels like she wants to tell her story, I don’t care who it is, I’m going to stand by her 100 percent, whether other people understand it or not. Her pain is my pain,” she continued. "It takes a lot of strength to speak your truth, regardless of who you hurt."
