A few months ago, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez plunked down $15 million on a new apartment in New York City. The spot was the first place they had purchased together as a couple at that point. It's no surprise that there's tons of money shared between J-Lo and her boyfriend A-Rod but it appears $15 million wasn't even enough to secure them a spot that's big enough for the whole family. It turns out that after only ten months in the building, the couple is already moving out to search for something more substantial.
According to Page Six, the two are listing their 4,000-square-foot pad for $17.5 million after purchasing the place in March. Both Jennifer and Alex have two children from previous relationships and apparently, when the kids are all together with them, the property isn't big enough. A source told the publication, "They love the building, but when their kids are all together, it’s too small. They need something bigger for the family."
The couple is looking for something new downtown after Jennifer also listed her luxury penthouse overlooking Madison Square Park. The $17.5 million listing price pales in comparison to the $27 million that Lopez is asking for that property. Furniture is not included in the price but if a buyer wants to purchase the apartment fully furnished, they are open to making a deal. Check out photos of the pad here.
