Tory Lanez & Joyner Lucas
Tory Lanez and Joyner Lucas prove that sportsmanship is alive and well.

The battle between Tory Lanez and Joyner Lucas rages on, much to the delight of listeners. After Joyner dropped off "Litty" last night, Tory took a moment to link up with Joyner on Instagram Live, proving that sportsmanship is alive and well. The pair proceed to laugh it up as they exchange greetings, clearly enjoying the healthy competition.

"What's going on?" asks Tory. "You know I'm about to body your shit, right?" Judging from Tory's words, it's likely that the conversation took place before Tory dropped off "Litty Again" this morning. "First and foremost, I'm a fan," laughs Joyner, to which Tory replies "vice versa. I talk a lot of shit, but at the end of the day, this is for the sport."

Joyner agrees, claiming that anyone trying to spin their tete-a-tete into a "beef" is missing the point. "This ain't beef n***a, this is rap!" Tory proceeds to explain why he started the tilt in the first place, prompting Joyner to slide in. "You reiterated the shit, but you left out a few key moments, bro!" says Joyner. "I'm minding my fuckin business, when all of a sudden I hear Mr. Tory Lanez calling me "the Joyner kid," the disrespect! Throwing names out, instead of saying n***as can't fu*k with you! I'm watching this shit, like, this cocky-ass n***a!"

Tory proceeds to throw J. Cole's name into the mix, asking Joyner if he thinks he can "go for" the Dreamville founder. "If ya'll n***as went head to head, you think you'd obliterate him?" The question prompts confusion from Joyner, who doesn't appear to see the connection. Perhaps Tory sees Cole as the benchmark, and thinks that Joyner's reticence to engage in open warfare with such a rapper speaks to the unspoken hierarchy of "skill." In any case, Tory warns Joyner that the body bag is imminent, though Joyner does not look fazed in the slightest. In fact, he seems to welcome the challenge, and likely has a response already in the works.

Either way, it's cool to see both parties openly enjoying their back-and-forth, and we can only hope the culmination is more music to come.
