Devin Lima has passed away after battling cancer for a year. His medical condition was critical as he received a stage diagnosis in early winter 2017. According to one of his family member's Lima died on Wednesday morning.
The deceased was part of a duo called LFO with Brad Fischetti. The group was originally comprised of three members. Rich Cronin, who had served as the lead vocalist of the formation, also passed away due to health issues. A fight with leukemia claimed the Boston native's life on September 8, 2010.
Brad Fischetti, who is now the last remaining group member, had announced Lima's diagnosis with a heavy heat lifted. Devin's character and fortitude still provided some optimism for his associate.
"Adrenal cancer is very aggressive and they’re concerned there might be cancer cells present in his body."
"It’s devastating news but at the same time, there’s nobody I know that’s stronger then Devin Lima. No one has a stronger body, mind or soul and if anybody can defeat this than it’s Devin."
The boy band was most-known for their 1999 hit "Summer Girls" which peaked at #3 on Billboard Hot 100. The group was considering reuniting on tour after releasing new music in the summer of 2017.
