Drake's new album, Nothing Was The Same, arrived into the hands of fans early when it sprung a leak on Sunday evening. This seems to be inevitable in this day and age, and Drake is aware of it. While discussing his sales expectations with MTV, in an interview that was obviously taped before the leak happened, Drizzy says, "more than September 24th, I'm just excited for whenever people get the music, cause obviously that'll, unfortunately, come out before the album drops."
When it comes to his expectations for the album, Drizzy shares some of the best advice he's received. "Best advice I ever got is 'no expectations leads to no disappointment.' I have no expectations," Drake said. "The numbers, the sales, it's cool, I'm sure I'll get into it on the day, like, 'how much did we sell,' tryna figure it out. Aside from that I'm just excited for people to hear the full body of work, it's been a long-time in the making, it's been about a year and a half."
