After Pusha T and Drake became one of hip-hop's most prevalent and heated rivalries, many wondered how Pusha's Toronto appearance would transpire. Evidently, not well. Last night, the concert was interrupted by an all-out brawl, in which several parties rushed the stage, only to be thwarted by security forces. The ensuing chaos prompted a variety of mixed reports, though it later became evident that Push returned to finish off his set; to add insult to injury, he played "Infrared," the song that renewed the animosity in the first place. Not only that, but Push also called out Drizzy's perceived involvement in the attack, likening him to a puppet-master of sorts.
While beef inherently risks running deeper than rap, it's always unfortunate when violence seeps into the fold. TMZ has confirmed that a man has been rushed to the hospital battling "life-threatening" stab wounds. It's unclear whether he was involved in the onstage altercation, though it has been determined that he was indeed present at the Music Hall. He spent the majority of the night in surgery, and as of now, his fate remains unknown.
Police are currently investigating. As of now, neither Pusha nor Drake has issued an official statement on the matter.
