The anticipation around Meek Mill's forthcoming project is real right now. Over the past few weeks, he's been teasing this "surprise album" as he calls it and he's been teasing some of the possible collaborators on the project. Last week, he shared a photo of himself in the studio with Russ, Fabolous, and James Harden as he geared up to join the "hottest albums of the year" conversation. Now, it appears as if he's locking in studio time with a U.K. songwriter who could very well be the next member of Dreamchasers.
Meek Mill took to Instagram to share a photo of himself with Ed Sheeran in what appeared to be a studio. The rapper is seen putting his iced out Dreamchasers necklace on Ed Sheeran's neck.
"Turning @teddysphotos to a DREAMCHASER 😂 a chain for CHAMPION$," he captioned the photo.
Ed Sheeran clearly has a strong relationship with the rappers. Meek definitely wouldn't be the first rapper he's gotten in the studio with. Most recently, worked with Eminem on the Revival cut, "River."
Aside from his possible collaboration with Ed Sheeran, Meek Mill was also recently spotted in the studio with Kodak Black following the Florida rappers release from prison in August. It's unsure whether its a song for Meek's project or Kodak's but we hope the collab is released soon.
