Brady has a ton of mutual respect for the rapper.

It's no secret that Meek Mill has an appreciation for those who strive for greatness. Ever since he was released from jail last year, the Championships rapper has been a whole new man and has been seen hanging out with the likes of Robert Kraft, who is, of course, the owner of the New England Patriots. Kraft isn't the only Patriot that Meek is a big fan of. While speaking at the MIT Sloan Sports Analytics Conference in Boston today, Meek talked about how he DM'd Brady after winning the Super Bowl to congratulate him on all of his accomplishments. To Meek's surprise, Brady actually replied back.

"I didn't know Tom Brady knew who I was, I just took a shot, and he was like 'I seen you been through so much,'" Meek explained.

He then went on to say that Brady gave him some words of encouragement and even referenced his recent stint in jail. "'What you went through was kinda like, almost harder than winning the Super Bowl game, bro,'" Brady said according to Meek.

Meek was there to talk about prison reform, which is something Brady talked to Meek about as well. In fact, Meek said that Brady told him that what he's doing is way tougher than winning six Super Bowls.
