“Josh is our starter and it’s his job to lose."

After starting the season 0-3, Arizona Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks has announced that rookie quarterback Josh Rosen will be taking over for Sam Bradford. “Josh is our starter and it’s his job to lose,” Wilks announced at the start of his Monday press conference.

Rosen made his regular season debut on Sunday with 4:31 left to play after the Chicago Bears took a 16-14 lead. He led the Cardinals into Bears territory but threw an interception on fourth down, finishing 4-of-7 for 36 yards,

According to Pro Football Talk, Wilks had hoped to get Rosen into the game with more time remaining but the Bears had possession of the ball for nearly seven minutes before kicking a go-ahead field goal late in the fourth.

Rosen, who was selected 10th overall out of UCLA by the Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft, will become the fourth QB from that class to start a game this season, joining the Jets' Sam Darnold, Bills' Josh Allen and the Browns' Baker Mayfield, who will also make his first start on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.

The Cardinals will host the 1-2 Seattle Seahawks in Week 4.
