Collins reportedly arrested following car crash nearby team facility.

Baltimore Ravens running back Alex Collins was reportedly arrested early Friday morning following a car crash approximately one mile away from the team's practice facility.

According to The Baltimore Sun, charges against Collins were not immediately available, and it's unclear whether he was driving at the time of the crash.

Collins was selected in the fifth round by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2016 NFL Draft, but was cut prior to the 2017 season. He later signed with the Ravens and established himself as a solid runner, ranking 11th in rushing during the 2017 campaign. However, his numbers dropped off last season, as he rushed for just 411 yards in 10 games before suffering a season-ending foot injury.

Collins, 24, is set to become a restricted free agent on March 13 and it has become increasingly likely that the Ravens will allow him to sign elsewhere.

The Ravens finished last season atop the AFC North with a record of 10-6, though they were eliminated by the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

Baltimore's current depth chart lists Gus Edwards as their starting running back, with Buck Allen as the backup. That said, word out of the NFL Combine suggests the Ravens have emerged as a favorite to sign free agent star Le'Veon Bell.
