Boosie's been teasing a blues album throughout the year. Many people didn't know what to expect, while others simply didn't think he was going to follow through with that plan. Boosie's had elements of blues embedded in his music, but he's never immersed himself into the genre completely. Today, Boosie took to social media to reveal the cover art and release date of his forthcoming project, Boosie's Blues Cafe.
Boosie Badazz will be coming through with a brand new project this weekend, Boosie's Blues Cafe which drops on Thanksgiving. The Southern rapper shared the cover art and tracklist for the project. The rapper doesn't seem to have any features on the 17-track project. Either way, it's exciting to hear what Boosie has up his sleeve on his upcoming project.
Boosie opened up about his blues album in September and credited Snoop Dogg's gospel album as inspiration to dive into another genre outside of rap.
"I do it for my greatness," he said. "My blues album, you know I'm not doing it just to do a blues album. I'm doing it because I know how good my blues album gon' be... Anything I'm going into a field with, I'm going in to perfect it."
At the time, Boosie also teased that My Badazz 3.5 would drop around the same time, but he's yet to confirm a release date for that project. Keep your eyes peeled for that.
